Evropsko-africká kvalifikace Little League Intermediate míří do Jablonce!

Baseballový areál Ashfield v Jablonci nad Nisou se od 23. do 28. června 2025 opět stane dějištěm významné mezinárodní sportovní události – Evropsko-africké kvalifikace Little League Intermediate (50/70). Turnaj je určen pro hráče ve věku 11 až 13 let a jeho vítěz si zajistí účast na Intermediate League World Series v Kalifornii.

Na sever Čech se sjedou nejlepší týmy z celé Evropy i Afriky, které se utkají o jediné postupové místo na prestižní světovou sérii pořádanou organizací Little League International. Ta se letos uskuteční v USA na přelomu července a srpna.

Pořadatelem kvalifikace je evropsko-africká kancelář Little League se sídlem v Kutně a místní organizaci zajišťuje Baseball Blesk Jablonec. Pro Jablonec jde o mimořádnou čest – hostit turnaj takového významu a přivítat mezinárodní baseballovou komunitu přímo na domácí půdě.

Během šesti dnů turnaje se na Ashfieldu odehrají desítky zápasů plných emocí, odhodlání a radosti ze hry. Českou republiku bude reprezentovat národní výběr, který se kvalifikoval v rámci domácí soutěže.

Europe-Africa Little League Intermediate Tournament Heads to Jablonec!

The Ashfield Baseball Complex in Jablonec nad Nisou will host again a major international sporting event from June 23 to 28, 2025 – the Europe-Africa Little League Intermediate (50/70) Regional Tournament. The tournament is intended for players aged 11 to 13, and the winning team will earn a spot at the Intermediate League World Series in California.

The best teams from across Europe and Africa will gather in northern Bohemia to compete for the one and only qualifying spot at the prestigious world series, organized by Little League International. This year’s World Series will take place in USA, at the end of July and beginning of August.

The tournament is organized by the Europe-Africa Little League office, based in Kutno, Poland, with local support provided by Baseball Blesk Jablonec. For the city of Jablonec, it is a great honor to host such a significant event and welcome the international baseball community on home ground.

Over the course of six days, Ashfield will witness dozens of exciting games filled with passion, determination, and the joy of the game. The Czech Republic will be represented by the national team, which secured its spot through the domestic qualifying tournament.
